Kurkure is a manufacturer of corn flips, a subsidiary of Pepsico India. “Kurkure” is the Indian word for crispy. Since the snack was first launched in 1999, it has expanded to include several flavours with outlandish names: Masala Munch, Green Chutney, Chilli Chatka, Tamatar hydrabadi Style, Xtreme Electric Nimbu, Xtreme Risky Chilli.
